And the Journey grows!
On the morning of September 11th, 2010, come rain or shine, I will start walking for the eighth consecutive year. But this year I will be walking no only to end breast cancer but also to end all women's cancers. WIth each step every participant will take along the 60km route, we will get closer to finding a cure so we can eradicate all those dreadful diseases and stop loosing those we love.
Once again I am excited to take on the challenge of raisin funds and awareness for breast cancer research, clinical enhancements, the continuation of the WEBC Breast Cancer Survivorship Program, the Rapid Diagnostic Breast Clinic Pogram plus all the new research relating to all gynecological cancers. And I do not want to forget the emotions I experienced seeing so many survivors of breast cancer who were men, who were walking in 2009 and were sharing their experience with us. So I am also walking for them and their sons.
